I did get your question and replied to it - twice.... I guess it's probably in your spam folders.
UpdraftPlus can't yet do this. We've done some work towards it, but I can't promise a time when it'll be ready yet. It's complex, internally. We've got code that can integrate a single site into a multisite, but it's not had a lot of testing.

Hi Alex,
PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT means that the relevant zip file (in this case backup_2014-03-18-1823_Skeptiko__Science_at_the_Tippin_0194561bbf8d-plugins.zip) is corrupt.
Every time we've seen that happen, it means that the *upload* of the zip file into the 'destination' site did not complete properly. (i.e. The zip file that you have is probably fine - you can test it by unzipping on your PC - but that something went wrong when you uploaded it into the destination site). So, the solution is probably to just upload it again into your destination site, and run the migration again from there.

I also faced this issue on my last restore, the file size shown in the backup portion was different but when i download it the file size is smaller... i tried it multiple times and thought it is because of godaddy so i moved on with a manual backup.
I am not sure why thins is happening, and how every file i download is corrupt.

Hi,
Possibly you have another plugin that is injecting some unwanted whitespace on every WordPress operation - this is normally harmless (as HTML doesn't care about whitespace), but will corrupt file downloads. The work-around is to download directly via FTP or Dropbox etc. instead of going through the UD dashboard.

You should set WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT in your wp-config.php file to be in harmony with the limit configured in Suhosin. See: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

Backup tasks runs for ever
Hi,
I tried to backup but it was not working.
When i tried complete backup with log, it started working... but finally i was redirected to a blank page and backup stoped (in the log)
When i checked in updraftplus backup page, the backup was running forever...

Hi,
Is the WordPress scheduler functional on that site? If it's showing a "next resumption" which is very far in the past, then it seems like the WP scheduler is not firing. Use the free plugin "WP Crontrol" to confirm whether your scheduled tasks are running or not.

Web-server disk space in use by UpdraftPlus: -1 b
Hi,
I try to take a backup from one Wordpress site.My cpanel space is in use 90MB of 500MB.
I was delete the last backup when i was take before some days.
Today when i try to take another backup the Updraft dont let me put the "Backup" button.
This button is off(dark-color which cant push it) and seems to be because updraft thinks that i dont have enough space to take a backup.
I was rescan for backup and i havent anyone.
The message that appears is : Web-server disk space in use by UpdraftPlus: -1 b!!!
I cant understand about this value of -1.
Usually to my other sites have 108 bytes when i delete the backup from the server.
I try to unistall updraft and install it again,delete the plug-in from my cpanel and the folder which store the backup,but
nothing work.
Cau u suggest me a solution for that?

Hi,
If the 'Backup Now' button cannot be clicked, then the folder UD uses inside wp-content could not be made writable. If you scroll down the UD settings page, you should see that, towards the bottom.

missing images
Hi David,
I just migrated a wordpress site. I backed it up to dropbox and then did a restore on the new site.
It looks like the site moved okay except that it's missing all blog images. Just wondering what to do? I'm re-doing the backup and restore and am hoping this will resolve the issue.
Sorry I did not keep track of the error. One came up but then it looked like it resolved itself so I didn't pay much attention to it.
Any help appreciated.

If you look at the webspace via FTP, then do you see any of the images there?
e.g. this one:
http://yousteps.terimorris.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/proverbs4-23-150x150.jpg
that should be the file wp-content/uploads/2014/03/proverbs4-23-150x150.jpg relative to the root of your WordPress installation.
If it is there, then the problem is with redirections. If not, then please can you send me the migration log (it's one of the 'log' files in wp-content/updraft - send it to contact at updraftplus.com).

FTP CANT Crrate
Hello I get this message when trying to complete a backup:
The folder exists, but your webserver does not have permission to write to it. You will need to consult with your web hosting provider to find out to set permissions for a WordPress plugin to write to the directory.
I called my web server (Softlayer - IBM) and we even set the permissions to all access (777) and it wouldnt take.
Please help.
